Athletes and collaborators of Club Deportivo Universidad Catolica are more protected thanks to CMPC
In order to help prevent Covid-19 infections in the population, CMPC donated 10,000 masks to the Universidad Catolica Sports Club (CDUC, Club Deportivo Universidad Católica) of Chile.
The delivery was made on Thursday September 3rd at the monument of the crusader knights, located at the San Carlos de Apoquindo complex in Las Condes. It was attended by CMPC’s Public Affairs Assistant Manager, Francisco Torrealba; the CDUC Director, Francisco Urrejola; the CDUC Business Manager, Guido Cornejo; and the institution’s paramedic, Yiuliano Turina.
According to the representative of CMPC -main sponsor of the sports club- “we are very happy to help the club, with whom we have a joint project called Fibra de Campeones, carry out its health protocol in the best possible way to prevent infections among collaborators, athletes and the technical staff.”
Regarding the company’s contribution, the Director of CDUC mentioned that “we are very grateful for the aid sent by CMPC. These masks will be tremendously useful for the rigorous health protocol we have implemented at CDUC with the purpose of caring for the health of our athletes, workers, technical staff and collaborators.”
