Exhibit opened in Fine Arts Museum thanks to support of Envases Impresos Roble Alto
The Fine Arts Museum recently opened the exhibit “Interconectados. Plexus Social”, an art event for work by the Chilean sculptor Soledad Omeñaca; Envases Impresos Roble Alto participated as a collaborator in building the artwork.
The modular sculpture displayed on the museum balconies is made out of more than 200 sheets of recycled cardboard donated in their entirety by the company.
During the opening speech Pablo Sufan, General Manager of EIRA, made special emphasis to “the company’s complete satisfaction in seeing products we work with day in and day out – products generally associated with industrial activities – transformed into an artist’s raw materials, and in this case, an artist well-known for being an avid experimenter in the use of new materials and canvases”.
He also reiterated the importance and commitment of maintaining over time joint collaborative efforts between the corporate world and the art world.
The exhibit is on the balconies of the second floor, in the east wing of the Fine Arts Museum and will remain on display until the 14th of August 2016.
